Sustainability is one of the most important concepts when it comes to fighting climate change and protecting the environment.
Here at Staverton Park Hotel & Golf Club we set up our 'Green Team' back in early 2023.
The team were brought together to look at the business as a whole and see where we could improve our sustainability. Made up of a representative from each department, we meet on a monthly basis and discuss a number of different topics.
The aim of the team is to improve our sustainability and promote sustainability to our staff and customers.
We are always looking into new and different ways we can improve sustainability throughout the business and are delighted that we have achieved our Green Tourism Bronze Award.
Our Bee Hives!
Welcome our new residents!
What’s all that buzzing you can hear?
That’s right, we now have our very own bees on site! They were brought over by Rivendell Bees and will spend a few days getting settled.
5 out of the 6 hives are now occupied and harvesting of honey is imminent to allow us to start selling our own Staverton Bees produced honey on reception and in the Pro Shop!
Thanks to Greens Team for getting the area cleared and ready for our new fuzzy buzzy friends!
